THE INCONVENIENCE: MUSIC
Full-blown-concerts, pre-show, incidental music, breakout dance parties and underscoring are just a few of the ways that The Inconvenience utilizes its music department. By hosting monthly rock-shows at The Viaduct Theatre, The Inconvenience bridges the gap between the audiences of theatre, art and dance: the concerts create a community of people who are excited by seeing the next big hip-hop group, and then staying for a stripped down acoustic set. By expanding and mixing the audience of the Chicago music scene, paying artists fairly and keeping shows affordable, The Inconvenience assists Chicago's diverse music community in staying at its already prolific constant.

A Little Bit Louder Now is a monthly concert held by The Inconvenience at The Viaduct Theater. The event kicks ass and takes names as it presents the very best in Chicago music. In the past six months it has already presented over twenty of the best groups in Chicago including Rabble Rabble, Netherfriends, The Streets On Fire, Serengeti, Vamos, Lasers and Fast and Shit, Campfires, Blue Ribbon Glee Club, Jams Dean, Heartichoke, Lionlimb and The Embraceables.
