The Inconvenience

THE INCONVENIENCE: Art

The Inconvenience continually exercises a strong visual element for all productions. Going beyond simple posters and advertising, the Art Department organizes non-traditional gallery's for Inconvenience events, bringing the themes of the plays, concerts and dance pieces into a wider visual vocabulary. By connecting visual artists to the company, The Inconvenience seeks to extend the conversation beyond the performance with installation pieces, video, and paintings inspired by the Inconvenience productions.

Several artists from around the city submitted pieces that matched the violence, hijinks and gritty nature of Brett Neveu's The Earl. The pieces were presented as a gallery in A Red Orchid Theatre's lobby for the duration of the shows 4 week run. Artists included Chance Bone, Mary Williamson, and company members Sierra Default and Brian Rad.

  • Bizarre Bizarre
